My name is Alaina Morgan.  I started this blog, much like I start most things, because I wanted to be part of the hype.  I wanted to have a blog kind of like I wanted to have a diary when I was little.  And, guess what?  I wasn’t any good with that either.  And with the linked together world of technology we live in today, I can’t use my blog as a diary – those are supposed to be secret thoughts!  But I want to be better.  I really, really do.  So, here’s hoping!  I’ll have to thank my parents for helping name my blog, in a way… My middle name is Faith and I decided it really worked.  I was diagnosed with type1 diabetes only in 2007 and if it wasn’t for my family stronghold, friends, and my faith in God, there’s no telling where I’d be.  In all situations, my faith keeps me going and, as a devout Catholic, I truly believe that life isn’t worth living without faith.

Other details: Currently living in Birmingham, AL with my husband, Jarrod, and baby, Maddie – And I love it!  It’s amazing to live in a place that a person can experience the small town country life and the bustle of city living in one greater-metro area.  I’ve experienced a few different areas of the country while growing up a Navy brat with both my parents in the Navy and lived in Florida, Maryland, California and Okinawa, Japan.  I spent most of my life in Pensacola, FL and that’s what I consider “home”.  And, I love the warm months when I get to go back home and visit the white sand beaches!

I have a wonderful younger sister, Nicole, who now lives in MT.  And I miss her bunches!   And, I work with one of my best friends, Jackie.  Which actually requires a lot of concentration or none of our work would ever get done ;)

So, that’s me in a nutshell.  I hope whoever reads this, enjoys.
